We Built a FinAI Platform That Secured $100K in Azure Backing - From Zero.

Altruva is a mission-driven AI platform for nonprofits that we took from a blank canvas to a live, enterprise-grade product. We owned every layer: product strategy, UI/UX design, AI architecture, backend systems, integrations, security compliance, and production deployment.

The flagship product is Tally - a free AI finance employee trained specifically on nonprofit finance - giving organizations instant, accurate answers to the financial questions that normally take hours.

What We Built, End-to-End:

  • AI Finance Agent (Tally): Conversational Q&A on budgets, forecasts, audits, and compliance - powered by advanced RAG on Azure AI Foundry with GPT-4.1
  • Drag-and-Drop Document Analysis: Upload any financial document and get AI-powered answers instantly
  • Live System Integrations: Real-time connections with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, HubSpot, and Salesforce via Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Admin Dashboard: Full user management, agent configuration, and usage analytics - built from scratch
  • Enterprise Auth: Auth0 implementation with nonprofit domain restrictions
  • Dual Environments: Separate staging and production environments for zero-risk deployments

Compliance Architecture We Engineered:

FedRAMP · SOC 2 · ISO 27001 · GDPR - enterprise-grade encryption, ethical AI principles, and nonprofit-specific terms of service - all designed and implemented by our team.

Outcome:

Launched in beta with $100,000 in Microsoft Azure credits, achieved 100% accuracy on all initial client test questions, and received full client sign-off on UI, functionality, and custom domain configuration - all in our first release.
